Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Ventura, CA for an Ophthalmic Technician. The Ophthalmic Technician will be responsible for preparing patients for their examinations, performing diagnostic tests, and assisting physicians with medical procedures. The technician will also update patient histories and maintain medical records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a medical back office is preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and respect patient rights
- Willingness to learn and participate in a team environment
