Central Office Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, networking components, and the ability to work effectively in the field. The Installer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality service and support.

Duties

• Install and configure different networking equipment systems.
• Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as an ohmmeter to ensure proper installation and functionality.
• Must be able to lift 50 Lbs and be able to work from ladders as required.
• Read and interpret schematics to guide installation processes.
• Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues with installed systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and services performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all installations.
• Must exhibit manual dexterity and produce quality workmanship in order to pass quality inspections.

Experience

• Proven experience in electrical work or as a service technician is preferred.
• Familiarity with Ethernet technologies and data center operations is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly.
• Experience working in a field service environment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
