Description
The Systems Analyst will help accomplish a variety of tasks related to the Company’s data systems, especially as they relate to the Accounting and IT departments. This person will learn VTC systems across all departments and platforms, both digital and manual. This is also a learning and contributing position, gaining as much experience and knowledge as possible in each assigned department. In turn, this person’s efforts will be expected to materially contribute to the productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of each department thereafter.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Under Assignment by the CEO:
- The Systems Analyst will be given assignments to work in various VTC departments to learn their systems and look for ways to improve them, ensuring their effective integration into the Financial and IT systems.
- This will include mastering and integrating digital and manual systems, creating documentation and training material, preparing management reports, assisting managers by performing data analytics, training personnel and other duties as needed.
- Current digital systems include but are not limited to: GP Dynamics, RIMS, Fleetio, the new fuel dispensing and recording software, Samsara and others as identified.
- Interface with programmers to assist in program development and troubleshooting bugs
- Work with team members to troubleshoot systems’ operational deficiencies and recommend solutions
- The Systems Analyst will work directly under the department manager until the assignment has been fulfilled.
- Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications

- Able and willing to increase educational training to meet the Company’s needs
- Proficient with Microsoft 365
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Required leadership and management skills to include the ability to motivate and influence others, focus on teamwork, safety and an emphasis on continuous improvement.
- Must be self-motivated with good critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills. Must be organized.
- Accepts accountability for work performed, sets high standards for quality, and sets and keeps deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Able to walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat, and climb, as necessary
- Able to effectively meet with and communicate with customers, vendors and employees
- Able to work long hours from time to time or work outside of normal working hours if necessary
- Able to travel from time to time
Environmental Factors
- Able to work in an industrial office environment.
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
