About Venture House
Venture House is a community-based non-profit, mental health agency, utilizing the Clubhouse Model of Psychosocial Rehabilitation. Our mission is to support individuals living with mental illness to recover through access to housing, education, employment, socialization, civic engagement, and the arts, in an egalitarian community of mutual empowerment
Responsibilities:
- Reports to Clubhouse Director
- Works collaboratively with Director to ensure compliance with all local, City and State regulatory requirements
- Works collaboratively with Director, staff, and program participants to ensure effective facilitation of Work Ordered-Day activities and compliance with Clubhouse International Standards
- Collaborate with the Director in the recruitment, onboarding, and evaluation of staff.
- Facilitates individual supervision of Clubhouse Staff, taking a strength-based approach to professional development, identifying training needs, and promoting teamwork
- Documents service delivery in electronic health record (Foothold/Awards)
- Trains staff in the maintenance of health records and adherence to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) guidelines
- Oversees outreach efforts
- Provides direct service to members regarding case management, crisis intervention, collateral contacts, and various supports as appropriate
- Complete monthly data collection to monitor trends in census, attendance, and outcomes
- Ensures accurate reporting of data to DOHMH and other entities as appropriate
- Assumes Leadership role in the absence of Clubhouse Director, including responding to external entities, managing day to day operations, and any potential crises
- Communicates expectations to staff and members regarding organizational obligations
- Assists Units in developing Unit Projects and identifying associated tasks
- Facilitates the development of work opportunities for members among all Units.
- Takes a lead role under the guidance of Director in implementing special projects
- Maintain confidentiality of staff and members
- Other duties as assigned
Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related profession required. Licensure preferred. Supervisory experience required.
