The Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in managing and optimizing transportation and logistics operations across numerous regions. This position will be responsible for coordinating shipments, ensuring timely delivery, and leveraging technology to streamline processes across all divisions.
- Coordinate and oversee the transportation and delivery of construction materials and products across the globe.
- Assist in the development and implementation of logistics policies and procedures for the company.
- Utilize technology and software to monitor, manage and optimize shipments, track inventory, and routes.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to centralize transportation operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including purchasing, production, and sales, to optimize logistics operations.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers to schedule deliveries and quickly resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for safety and environmental guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all shipping records, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field and 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the construction/manufacturing industry.
- Proficient using logistics software and technology, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Experience using Global Shop Solutions (GSS) a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams within the company and customer base.
- Strong ability to interpret and use data to make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
