What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at Venture Logistics?
POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Manager role is designed to be a one-stop-shop to ensure order fulfillment, prompt and professional communication, along with accuracy in orders and invoicing, as well as problem-solving as issues arise for our customers. Will require occasional work from home and after regular business hours to handle issues as they arise.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION :
- Ownership for multiple customers both within and external to the facility in handling orders from receipt to billing / invoicing and all points in between.
- Daily communication with customers via email, phone, or in person
- Ensures data accuracy for order information in 3PL
- Coordinates communication between Operations and customer for orders, issues, and changes.
- Coordination with Sales, Facility Management, and Operations Supervisor to ensure successful launch and successful structure for efficient service.
- Customer reporting of KPIs, both internal and external for customer performance
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Addressing issues in professional and courteous manner, both internal and external
