Event Set-Up associate

Venture Out is a beautiful 55 resort community hiring a full-time(40hrs) Event Set-Up and Tear Down Floor Crew Associates.

• Must be willing to work occasional evenings and possible holiday(double time pay)
• Be personable and outgoing with residents
• Floor care experience is a plus

Primary Duties:

· Set-up and tear-down for dances, events, meetings, etc.

· Performs basic janitorial duties for the Recreation Department. Clean Meeting Rooms, Vacuum, Mop, Floor Care, Empty Trashes, Wipe Table and Chairs, Clean Bathrooms, and General Cleaning.

· Maintains overall aesthetics of the Recreation Complex

Secondary: Including but not limited to:

· Proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment

· Proper use of common tools

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Proper safety and handling of chemicals to include Material Safety Data Sheets and the proper cataloging and labeling of chemical dispensing sprayers in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations

· Other duties as directed by the Team Lead or the Activity Director

Hiring (1) Shift 6:30 am-3:00 pm, Days Off Wednesday & Thursday

Pay: $17-$20 DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
