Seeking a BIM Design Project Manager, for a full-service architecture firm. The role involves collaboration within a mid-sized team, engaging in both design and technical production using AutoCAD and BIM across all stages of architectural projects.
Essential Job Functions
- Create detailed architectural construction documents using advanced industry software.
- Set up and maintain Revit files for drawing sets, incorporating backgrounds, annotations, and schedules.
- Integrate revisions into Revit models and ensure proper filing and labeling of documents.
- Assist engineers and maintain project schedules and document accuracy.
- Participate in special projects as guided by project or production managers.
- Assist in developing and upholding drawing standards.
- Use specialized software for wall panel layouts and truss designs.
- Collaborate with project managers and designers to produce precise BIM models and drawing packages.
Skills and Expertise Required
- Advanced skill in Revit and BIM360
- Basic sketching abilities
- Strong proficiency in design, problem-solving, and sustainable design technologies
- Competency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Photoshop and Sketchup is advantageous
- Basic understanding of architectural building systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to meet deadlines effectively
Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in design, drafting, or engineering
