About the Role :
Venture University is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Endowment Development and Strategic Fundraising to lead the creation and execution of a global endowment strategy. This individual will play a critical role in securing funds for VU’s endowment and may also support capital-raising initiatives for our venture capital fund.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to establish and grow Venture University’s endowment.
- Identify, cultivate, and build relationships with potential donors, including HNW individuals, family offices, corporations, and institutional investors globally.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to define funding priorities and create compelling cases for support.
- Manage the endowment fundraising process, including outreach, donor meetings, proposal development, and closing gifts.
- Raise additional capital for VU's venture capital fund as needed.
- Monitor fundraising metrics, provide regular progress updates, and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and ethical fundraising practices.
