Roofer

Job Summary: Venture Rentals LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Apartment Roofer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will specialize in both flat and pitched roofing systems, focusing on roof installation, roof leak repairs, and other common roofing work orders for our portfolio of multi-family properties. This role requires a deep understanding of roofing systems, the ability to diagnose and repair roof issues efficiently, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure high-quality work and tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems, including flat, pitched, TPO, EPDM, and shingle roofs.
• Diagnose and repair roof leaks promptly to minimize property damage.
• Perform regular roof inspections to assess condition and recommend maintenance or repairs.
• Replace or repair damaged roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, metal sheets, and membrane systems.
• Seal and waterproof roofs to prevent future leaks and damage.
• Ensure proper installation and maintenance of gutters, downspouts, flashing, and other roofing components.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely for all roofing tasks.
• Collaborate with property managers, maintenance teams, and contractors to complete roofing projects on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
• Document completed work orders and report any significant issues to management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a roofer, with expertise in both flat and pitched roofing systems.
• Familiarity with various roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, metal, TPO, and EPDM membranes.
• Ability to diagnose and repair roof leaks effectively and efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of waterproofing techniques and materials.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical schematics.
• Familiarity with frame carpentry and structural support for roofing projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multi-family residential roofing projects.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• in is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy materials and tools (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
