Position: Automation Tester (Big data, Agile),
Location: Schaumburg, IL,
Duration: Full time,
Job Description:-
Mandatory Technical Skills:-
• Hands-on current or past experience in test automation
• In-depth experience with Selenium or HP QTP, ideally both, preferably with Selenium
• experience testing or/and deploying Big Data, non-relational solutions on Hadoop platform and/or SPARK engine
• Experience with automating APIs, Web Services, SOAP and/or REST services is highly preferred
Desirable Technical Skills :-
• Machine Learning Test Experience
• Expertise on one or more scripting languages: Python, Ruby, Perl, Groovy etc.
• Expertise in one or more query languages: SQL, Pig, HiveQL, etc.
• Expertise in one or more Automation tools like SOAP UI Pro, Scalacheck, SIESTA etc.
Mandatory Functional Skills:-
• 2 years of experience in working with Agile methodologies and practices
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement automation tools for Component test, Web Services test, Data Validation and UI Test
• Ability to co-ordinate with multiple technical teams, Business users and Customer
Desirable Functional Skills :-
• Excellent one-on-one communication and presentation skills, able to convey technical information in a clear and unambiguous manner.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
Total Experience Required:- 4-8 years
