Position: Business Intelligence AWS Data architect,

Job Description:-
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:-
• Has a passion for Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing with specific focus on MSBI technologies (SSSIS, SSRS and SSAS)
• Has AWS Cloud expertise with experience in implementing BI Solution in cloud
• Experience in MySQL, AWS Aurora, Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres) and NoSQL (Amazon DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Cassandra) data stores, building IoT use cases, and implementing big data analytics with technologies like Hadoop, Amazon EMR, Amazon RedShift, and Amazon Kinesis, Spark, Ping, Hive and Python and amazon data security.
• Data modeling - ER modeling vs. Dimensional modeling
• Has experience with Microsoft SQL server 2008/2012
• Performance (query tuning, profiling, clustered indexes, updateable columnstore indexes)
• Depth understanding of Enterprise data warehouse and involved in one full implementation
• Being able to transform business requirements into DW/BI Solution and in AWS cloud
• Experience in enterprise application integration
• Hands on experience MS SQL Server and its latest versions
• Understanding of Informatica and Business Object Enterprise
Roles and responsibility:-
• Interact with Business SMEs and end users on data, reporting and performance needs
• Understand and analyze business needs
• Compile, gather the requirements into design
• Should able to implement BI Solutions in Amazon cloud
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and into design
• Must be aware of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs
• Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement and create specifications and implement
• Maintain applications (EAI/ETL technologies) within a high-availability and high volume environment
• Produce ETL design and guidelines to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure for the BI system
• Design, code, test, and document all new or modified BI systems, application, processes and programs
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills:-
• Enterprise Data Architect must be able to understand how the data relates to the current operations and the effects that any future process changes will have on the use of data in the Agency and must be alert to the need to maximize the data resources by reducing redundancy, enabling accessibility within security boundaries, fostering corporate understanding of the meaning of the data.
• Good understanding Sabre TDB and airline data
