Job Description
Title: Electrical Hardware Engineer
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Duration: Full Time
Interview Process: Phone and Skype Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Overview:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent is required.
Minimum 3 years electrical/electronic hardware design experience
Printed circuit board design. Digital circuit design. Power supply design
Preferred Qualifications (in addition to the basic qualifications above): Vehicle communications network experience. Master's degree in
Electrical Engineering. Vehicle systems wiring. Management experience/ Program management
Will be required to drive a company car. Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
May be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
Additional Information:
BSEE is required. MSEE is preferred.
NOT an entry level position. Requires at least 3 years of work experience beyond co-ops, internships, college projects.
Candidate MUST have hardware experience. Candidates with software experience are NOT a fit.
Candidates MUST have experience conducting circuit design and analysis. Automotive circuit design is preferred.
Familiarity with tools, such as PSpice.
Primary Skills:
Lead product design and development activities related to Electrical/Electronic hardware interfaces
for Electronic Control Units used in vehicle applications. Establish and document best practices for
analog and digital circuit designs. Support root cause analysis. Support hardware virtual
analysis/simulation.
Qualifications
BSEE is required. MSEE is preferred.
