Job Details
Technical/Functional Skills Must Have:
- The candidate should also have a strong understanding of
o Electricity Distribution business
o Experience working on electric apps such as SCADA, DERMS, EMS etc.
o Implementation Lifecycle experience
o Business Requirements Gathering
- Conducting Workshops and Requirement Gathering sessions
- Hands-on experience with functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, cross platform testing, component testing, performance testing.
- Experience on JIRA
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest testing developments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English language.
- Experience in writing test scripts
Good to Have:
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to recognize and communicate project risks as well as implement mitigation strategies
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and challenges throughout the project development and execution and successfully managing the customer expectations
Experience Required 10 Years
Roles & Responsibilities Specific responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Meeting with system users to understand the scope of projects
- Working with software developers and project teams
- Develop Test Strategy
- Identifying business requirements
- OT Functional and Integration testing
- Performance testing
- Writing and executing test scripts
- Running manual and automated tests
- Testing in different environments including web and mobile
- Writing bug reports
- Providing objective feedback to software development project team
- Proactively communicate project requirements to project team and wider organization as and when required
- Manage, oversees and coordinates all aspects of the project from initial Test planning through completion of project
- Manage all interfaces and communication between the vendor, Project Team and business stakeholders; identify gaps and implement improved processes where required
- Communicate all key aspects of the status report on a regular basis through monthly updates and other updates as critical developments occur
- Demonstrated success as a self-starter
- Ability to work with a team and motivate the team to achieve project deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills using a methodical approach
- Ability to create consensus among different stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to the project/application stakeholders
