Role Overview
The Supply Chain Coordinator supports the smooth operation of supply chain processes by coordinating activities between suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams. This role ensures timely materials delivery, maintains inventory accuracy, and helps optimize supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the movement of goods and materials between suppliers, warehouses, and customers.
- Communicate with vendors to confirm orders, shipment details, and delivery timelines.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure delivery on time, proactively addressing delays.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assisted in stock-level planning to meet operational needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, operations) to resolve supply chain issues.
- Prepare and analyze reports on supply chain performance and suggest process improvements.
- Assist in developing and maintaining supply chain policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
- High School Diploma or GED; an Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
- 50-hour work weeks.
- Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365.
- Efficient in supply chain software (e.g., ERP systems such as Eclipse or Prophet 21).
- Ability to effectively communicate [written and verbal].
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
- Detailed-oriented work style, comfortable juggling multiple priorities while maintaining a consistent work approach.
- Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
