This immediate opportunity is ideal for an individual with a background in battery science and project management in an innovative office supporting the Department of Defense. The selected candidate will provide SETA support by coordinating meetings, assessing performer technical progress, projecting performer outcomes, and ensuring that project management best practices are followed by performers and independent verification and validation (IV&V) entities. The ideal candidate should possess technical research and experience with batteries, electro chemistry, and/or redox reductions. Experience developing conductive polymer materials to advance flexible battery technology. Exemplary candidates will also have demonstrated an ability to learn new subjects and gain rapid insights into current and next-generation research topics, preferably with hands-on leadership of research programs at the performer level.

Required Experience
• Background in battery chemistry and engineering
• Experience in developing conductive polymer materials to advance flexible battery technology
• PhD or Master’s Degree with at least 1-2 years’ experience
• Minium Secret Clearance
Desired Experience
• Excellent technical writing skills, including the ability to perform proof reading and quality control on technical documents and slides.
• Excellent communication skills- both written (to include PowerPoint) and oral; must be able to concisely summarize and efficiently communicate the essential elements of concept quantitatively and comprehensively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
