Direct Client - Senior QA Analyst with Equity Derivatives Trading Platform expertise. Strong Knowledge in at least one Trading Platform (e.g. Fidessa/Calypso/Summit) is a must.

Job Responsibilities:
Experience/ Skills:
- Experience (8 years) in the field of IT and Testing in the BFSI (Banking and Financial Industry) domain.
- Strong Domain skills - Must have working experience in Capital Markets across modules and instruments especially Derivatives (Bonds, Options, Futures, Swaps)
- Strong Working expertise in at least one Trading Platform (e.g. Fidessa/Calypso)
- Experience in testing BFSI Domain applications with a proper understanding of the Trade Lifecycle.
- Experience and in-depth understanding of the Software Testing principles.
- Experience with Applications in Front/Middle Office operations.
- Knowledge of FIX Protocol.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive and manage onsite (North Americas), satellite (London) and offshore (India) QA team members in Equity Derivatives area and keep track of each release cycle and project delivery
- Provide clear direction and vision to QA team members
- Ensure all regression and new functionality is tested each release cycle
- Identify and fill gaps in existing QA regression test suite and process.
- Provide regular status to business and IT stake holders
- Gather details about testing priorities and focus
- Sit down with team and Identify types of tests to be performed
- Preparation of test plan / strategy document for various types of testing
- Provide solution for application automation
- Create test cases, automation scripts (if applicable)
- Prepare requirement traceability matrix (RTM)
- Execute tests as per plan
