What are the responsibilities and job description for the Booking Manager position at VENUWORKS OF CEDAR RAPIDS, LLC?
VenuWorks of Cedar Rapids is seeking a Booking Manager for the Alliant Energy Powerhouse Arena, McGrath Amphitheatre, and Paramount Theatre. This salaried management position will require strong working relationships with outside concert promoters, booking agents and all artist representatives to maximize concert, sporting, community and special event bookings across all our Cedar Rapids venues. Scaling of house, risk management analysis, and proforma experience preferred.
VenuWorks operates in a dynamic environment in hosting premier national entertainment in these venues, and this position may be required to work assigned events taking place in the evenings and on weekends.
Benefits, 401K retirement plan and insurance offered. Salary will be based upon work experience and education. Qualifications: Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university in sports management, marketing, communications or related fields; or at least two years related experience and/or training in any aforementioned field.
