SUMMARY
SUMMARY
Part Time Operations Staff report to the Director of Operations as well as Operations Supervisors and is responsible for event preparation and general maintenance of the venue.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Is a skilled and semi-skilled employee engaged in a wide variety of non-engineering tasks in the operation and maintenance of the building, grounds and equipment of the venue.
- Assists in the installation of the portable riser systems, basketball floor, ice deck, tables, and chairs.
- Assists in the planning, layout, space allotment of various functions such as trade shows, banquets, convention meetings, concerts and stage attractions.
- Assists in proper cleaning and repair methods, use of materials and operation of equipment.
- Conducts daily inspection of the venue and reports damage and vandalism. When appropriate, repairs damage or makes arrangements for repairs to be made.
- Assists in the conversion of changeover of the venue from one event to another.
