Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is seeking a Technician for our Hydrocarbon & Petrochemicals
Processing Product line at our Tomball TX research facility.
This Laboratory Technician position involves performing chemical bench work at Veolia and customer
sites. Youll be a key part of our Energy & Chemicals Solutions division focusing on R&D for Oil & Gas
Production Transportation Refinery and Petrochemical Process Chemicals.
Essential Responsibilities
Perform daily tests ensuring accuracy of results
Identify and report problems to management or senior staff
Follow established standard operating procedures
Demonstrate flexibility and technical ability in multiple areas
Meet productivity and quality goals
Adhere to safety and environmental policies / procedures
Perform in a fastpaced highvolume environment
Support purchase of laboratory supplies
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements :
Associates Degree in Chemistry or Chemistry Technology (or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience in chemistryrelated testing
Desired Characteristics
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or related discipline
Experience in chemicals testing for Hydrocarbon & Petrochemicals applications
Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office products
Experience in Wet Chemistry Micropipetting FTIR Colorimetric Analysis Thermal Analysis
TGA DSC) Hydrocarbons testing Petrochemicals testing
Strong ethics and compliance with environmental health and safety standards
Team player
