The F&M Implementation team works to take laboratory research on filters and membranes and turn it into commercialized products made on production equipment.
Key Characteristics:
Broad technical knowledge of membranes for water, process, or gas separation
Project management skills to lead new product development from ideation to commercialization
Ability to multi-task and handle diverse responsibilities, while maintaining high productivity in a fast-paced environment.
Strong experience working in a manufacturing environment
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead technology efforts to qualify RO/NF/UF membrane and elements products and processes
Collect and analyze experimental data and communicate product performance to stakeholders
Work hands on with manufacturing and pilot lines to assess new process and product ideas
Collaborate closely with development researchers and manufacturing engineers to turn laboratory concepts into implemented products and processes
Work with customers and commercial teams to evaluate and identify opportunities that drive meaningful business growth through the development of new membrane products
Establish inclusive partnerships with complementary functions such as commercial engineering, applications and process engineering, product management and regional technology centers
Follow your ideas from the lab to the market. Use your creativity, commitment, and drive to transform new products from laboratory-scale ideas to commercial reality
Where appropriate use statistical design of experiments to deliver while inventing, and implementing new technology to our membrane portfolio
Lead new product and process development projects
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience linking scientific principles, chemistry, membrane structure and formulation to real world applications
Proven project management skills. Proven ability to prioritize/manage multiple projects and deliver on their objectives.
Experience with statistical analysis and design of experiment for product development
You are an aspiring leader, influencing and empowering others, making good decisions, and preparing your project teams for success.
Ability to work hands on in a research or industrial environment while comfortably interacting with customers and/or internal business partners.

Knowledge of membrane production techniques
Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $100,000.00 -$110,000.00 annually.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field)
4 years experience
Preferred:
Experience working with production and membrane research
