Job Summary
Responsible for transporting chemicals to and from the warehouse to the production areas.
Responsible for inventory control and warehouse organization and cleanliness. Clean and prepare returnable tote bins for use in the Chemical Blend operation. Organize bins by type and clean status.
Perform minor tote repairs and routine bin maintenance. DOT testing of totes to ensure the integrity of the bins.
Duties & Responsibilities
Receive instructions from the chemical operators and pull the correct raw materials and deliver the requested quantities to the production areas.
Using a forklift to clear the production areas of finished packaged goods and complete raw materials and move them to a final storage location.
Use of SAP scanner guns to electronically move material from the storage location to the production area and back into storage.
Operate industrial fork truck to remove bins from tractor trailers move and stack into inventory move bins in and out of the cleaning bay.
Unload bins containing liquids by connecting hoses to outlet connections.
Use SAP to record bin numbers and change the status and locations of the bins in the system.
Follow all guidelines and procedures in the SemiBulk Manual.
Perform DOT pressure testing of certified bins.
Perform minor tote repairs and routine bin maintenance.
Perform general warehouse activities such as opening containers and crates filling warehouse orders assisting in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials.
Qualifications :
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent GED
Required :
Minimum of 6month related batch chemical blending / formulation experience with hazardous materials
Minimum of 6 months experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment which includes experience with hazardous materials
Preferred :
Minimum of 1 year experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment which includes experience with hazardous materials
Ability to drive a fork truck and pass certification
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Attention to detail and numbers oriented
Strong computer skills including MS Outlook Excel Word and the Internet
Team player individual thinker
Customer focused; positive attitude
Minimum 1 year analytical testing experience
Prior fork truck driving experience is desired
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Working knowledge of SAP
Pay rate : $30 an hour

Standing for 8hour shifts.
Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.
