Job Description
The role of a Lead Construction Fabricator is pivotal to ensuring that projects not only meet

fabrication teams, Lead Construction Fabricators are tasked with overseeing operations, guiding
junior staff, and implementing industry best practices.
A Lead Construction Fabricator plays a vital supervisory role, of fabrication members to ensure
efficient workflow and project progression. By interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, the
lead fabricator translates design intentions into tangible outcomes, effectively planning and
organizing fabrication. This involves meticulous material procurement and resource allocation,
which are essential for maintaining project timelines and budgets. Furthermore, the operation
and maintenance of various fabrication equipment tools fall within their purview, requiring both
hands-on skills and a comprehensive understanding machinery.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Leadership :
Supervise and manage a team of fabricators
Ensure all fabricated products meet quality standards and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Enforce safety regulations and procedures in the workplace
Maintain accurate records of projects, materials, and labor
Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Verbal and written communication
Proficiency in Google Suite or similar software
Understanding of OSHA regulations and other safety standards
Conflict resolution
