Job Description
Job Summary :
The Filter Press Area Operations Manager (OM) oversees the safe performance of 7-Filter Presses and
other wastewater processing equipment at a Veolia Industrial Wastewater plant, while focusing on ways
to improve processes and increase productivity. They will also be the Assistant Site Leader and back-up
to the Veolia Site Leader. The OM will work directly for the Veolia Site Leader to foster a compliance-
based culture with the client, outside regulatory agencies, and within Veolia itself while serving as a
driving force for the EHS program. The Operations Manager is the visible and active leader for
approximately 16 Field Service Representatives / Operators, promoting a favorable and productive
environment for all employees.
Key Characteristics
- Ability to back-up the Senior Site Leader as the Assistant Site Leader
- Ability to manage the 24 / 7 operation of the filter press area in a client facility
- Ability to manage approximately 17 Field Service Representatives / Operators as their direct
