Job Description
The Packaging Operator I will work in a team environment to assemble filters and operate automated packaging equipment. In this role, you will perform all tasks conducted by the team in the manufacturing process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.
Working Scheduled : Tuesday through Friday from 5 AM to 3 PM
Responsibilities :
- Observe all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules, including housekeeping practices; participate in EHS meetings, investigations, and audits
- Proactively communicate and address safety concerns
- Assemble filters and operate packaging equipment using prescribed manufacturing procedures
- Perform LOTO (Lock-out / Tag-out) procedures as trained
- Perform basic troubleshooting of area equipment and process issues
- Perform in-process inspection of materials to ensure conformance with specifications; identify non-conforming material and filters
- Keep accurate records of Lot numbers, Model numbers, and Serial numbers
- Input production data into a Network Database / SAP system
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
- Aid in the training of other employees on new or existing procedures
- Work and cooperate well on a team to ensure team objectives are met
- Assist in the development of new processes to improve product quality and production efficiency and aid in the development of new product models
- Frequently lift and bend when manipulating materials to produce product
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by Supervisor, Facilitator, or Lead
