Targeted Hourly Pay Range: Minimum of $20.00 to a maximum of $25.00
Student Exploration and Experience Development (SEED) is a 12-week internship opportunity at Veolia for students to gain hands-on experience in sustainability and ecological transformation. They will work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from industry professionals, and participate in workshops and networking events. The program aims to nurture talent, promote innovation, and foster meaningful connections between students and industry professionals. Overall, theSEEDprogram provides students with the skills, knowledge, and connections needed to make a positive impact in the industry.
Program Dates: June 2, 2025 to August 22, 2025.
POSITION PURPOSE: This position of Chemical Engineer Student Summer Intern. In this role the candidate will be an integral part of a team in Veolia SIB T&P Technical Development, supporting Business Development, for a few projects that we will select for the candidate to participate and collaborate in every step of the technical development step of the sales cycle.
The position is remote, however travel is required spending week or two at one of your office hubs (Boson, Houston, NYC, Milwaukee, etc.) interacting F2F with the team and also with other Veolia employees Also this role will require some travel to customer sites in order to meet the customer and better understand the customer technical need. This is to get Voice of the Customer (VOC)) which is key to frame the technical proposal and resources needed for Operating and Maintaining the environmental solution safely and with a distinctive technical advantage.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities
- Support SIB T&P Technical Development activities for selected projects in the industrial wastewater, resource recovery or and industrial power environmental spaces
- Allocate candidate to two-three specific projects and shadow Tech Development Manager during the development process that will end in a commercial proposal to the customer. Get experience with customer VOC and environmental solution development.
- Understand, participate and support Veolia SIB O&M project development processes and tools
- Conduct limited site visits with TDM lead to interface with customer and industrial operation.
- Participate and support on HSE activities aligned with T&P.
- Support the preparation and delivery of the technical proposal.
