Primary Duties / Responsibilities :
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the storage and distribution operations of raw materials and other supplies within facility.
- Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfers.
- Cycle count stock items and record data using the Inventory Management System.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses and storerooms.
- Maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects.
- Document quantity, quality, type, weight, test result data, and value of materials or products, in order to maintain shipping, receiving, and production records and files.
- Weigh or measure materials, equipment, or products to maintain relevant records, using volume meters, scales, rules, and / or calipers.
- Compare product labels, tags, or tickets, shipping manifests, purchase orders, and bills of lading to verify accuracy of shipment contents, quality specifications, and / or weights.
- Collect or prepare measurement, weight, or identification labels; and attach them to products.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, testing labs to exchange information regarding products, materials, and services.
- Other duties as assigned.
