Summary
United Engineers and Constructors is looking for an Electrical Supervising Engineer to lead a team and Controls engineers and designers, providing continuous, on-site support for a nuclear plant in the Detroit / Chicago / Toledo area.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited 4-year university.
- 8 years overall experience in design electrical and I&C systems for power plants or heavy industrial facilities.
- 5 years of experience in electrical and I&C system design for nuclear plants in North America.
- Familiarity with the nuclear standard design process, and experience preparing engineering drawings including but not limited to wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Familiarity with IEEE, EPRI, ISA and IAEA Codes and Standards and NRC Reg Guides relating to nuclear plant licensing and design.
- Good written and oral communication skills. Must be able to interface with other members of the project team including other disciplines, client, contractors and vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Teams.
- Must be a Citizen of the U.S. and able to obtain unescorted access to a U.S. Nuclear Power Plant including Fitness for Duty requirements.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License in any state in the U.S. with ability to obtain licensure in other states by comity.
