Senior Electronics Design Engineer

East Aurora, New York

We're looking for a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer for an onsite position in East Aurora. You will primarily work in the WNY Defense Electrical Group.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of experience with electrical design OR Master of Science Degree in Engineering with 8 years' of experience with electrical design
  • Experienced in designing PCB's
  • Proficient in circuit design, analysis, and testing
  • Specialization in power electronics
  • Must be a US citizen due to military program involvement

Day- to-Day Responsibilities :

  • Be a leader in a team of creative, independent individuals.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and knowledgeable atmosphere where teamwork is fostered
  • Contribute to the development of new products through consulting with customers and sales personnel.
  • Consult on new product and market development efforts.
  • Prepare successful proposal designs and concepts, along with cost and schedule estimates.
  • Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses
  • Create reliable designs through a comprehensive experimental development test program
  • Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports.
  • Help with interviewing and mentoring junior engineers.

    • SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

    Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

    10 years of experience with electrical design

    Experienced in designing PCB's; proficient in circuit design, analysis, and testing
