Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our revenue team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in sales development, particularly within companies offering complex enterprise applications such as ERP, UCaaS, CCaaS, cloud solutions, and migration services. This role focuses on researching and identifying targets, generating and qualifying leads, securing value-driven meetings, and driving the early stages of the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and research prospects through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
- Lead Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives, qualifying them as potential clients.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in Salesforce to ensure up-to-date information on prospects and leads.
- Collaboration: As a key member of the Revenue team, you will develop and execute effective strategies for lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate the value proposition of VeraLogics' offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SDR or in a similar role within companies offering complex enterprise applications.
- Proven track record of achieving goals and generating qualified leads.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, ZoomInfo (or other primary data tool) and sales engagement tools.
- Working knowledge of generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, CoPilot, or Writer.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
