Veranda Capital is a boutique real estate investment and development firm specializing in student housing and luxury flip projects across the U.S. We are on a high-growth trajectory and seeking a strategic, hands-on CFO to help scale our business, optimize financial performance, and support our capital campaigns.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll work directly with our founders and key stakeholders to shape the financial future of a dynamic and entrepreneurial real estate firm.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies that support growth and profitability.
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis .
- Support capital raising efforts and structure financing for real estate acquisitions and development projects.
- Work with our SEC attorneys on the financial aspects of our funds.
Accounting & Financial Operations
Investor & Lender Relations
What We’re Looking For
5 years of progressive financial leadership experience in real estate, private equity, or a related field.
Deep understanding of real estate finance, capital markets, and fund structures .
Strong technical skills in accounting (GAAP), financial modeling, and tax planning .
Experience with construction financing, investor reporting, and loan management .
Proficiency in QuickBooks and financial management software .
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
