We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Finance to lead our financial management efforts.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, including GAAP.
The successful applicant will have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare, manage and reconcile construction loan draws.
- Prepare quarterly distribution statements and disbursements to investors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in the real estate industry. Experience at start-ups or small firms is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, including GAAP.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
