We are looking for a professional Executive Chef to join our culinary team. Qualified candidates will have experience preparing Southern cuisine on a large scale and take pride in its presentation. It is also extremely important that all our employees are patient, kind, and have a joy for working with senior citizens.
Job Duties:
- Ensure proper staffing in dietary department at all times. This will include hiring and termination of staff as necessary, as well as creating schedules.
- Maintain stock of both food and dietary supplies.
- Adhere to monthly budgets, including labor hours as well as food costs.
- Assist with catering special events.
Requirements:
- Certification from an Accredited Culinary Institution OR Equivalent knowledge and experience.
- 10 years culinary experience
- Computer skills including word, excel, and outlook.
- Experience in management, decision making, planning, and coordinating
- Must have front and back of the house experience.
Qualifications:
- All employees are required to pass a pre-employment background check, TB Test, Drug Test, and physical.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
