Our program consists of a 10–12-week internship at our West Deptford, NJ location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Veranova personnel to update the site's LOTO procedures
- Assist the Process Safety Engineer with various tasks supporting the site's process safety program
- Organize the site's permit to work files
- Work to archive safety records
- Industrial Hygiene sampling
- Develop EHS training materials
- Other EHS related tasks, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Safety/Occupational Health, Chemistry or related science major with interest in EHS
- Minimum Overall GPA of 2.7 required
- Must be comfortable walking around an industrial environment and have the ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently when given direction
