The major responsibility of the Environmental, Health and Safety Intern is to assure and maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all employees. The EHS Intern will report to the Site Lead, EHS. The EHS Intern will ensure compliance with Veranova safety policies and programs to ensure Veranova is compliant with all safety standards at the local, state, and federal levels.
Our program consists of a 10–12-week internship at our Devens, MA location.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Update and manage EHS programs to Veranova branding templates
- Update trainings
- Conduct audits/inspections
- Update and manage SDS “e-binder”
- Manage and update contractor compliance app
- Update and build EHS equipment maps
- Currently pursuing a degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or similar
- Minimum Overall GPA of 2.7 required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a true career aspiration to be a leader
- Must be adaptable, strive for excellence, and demonstrate a positive attitude in the face of adversity
- Strong interpersonal skills a must, coupled with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships to achieve results
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills essential
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
