The Project Management Intern is responsible for coordinating the R&D and manufacturing efforts for programs. This role will be responsible for generating reports and project schedules and will interface with the Associate Director, Project Management and technical teams to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget and within established parameters. This internship opportunity will provide hands-on experience in project coordination, planning, execution, and monitoring under the guidance of experienced project managers. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills and a strong sense of urgency.
Our program consists of a 10–12-week internship at our West Deptford, NJ location.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Veranova personnel to accomplish critical improvement projects, Assist project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and timelines.
- Coordinate project activities, meetings, and resources to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Track project progress, milestones, and budgets using project management tools and software.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports, presentations, and documentation to stakeholders.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and alignment on project objectives.
- Support the implementation of project management best practices and process improvements.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance project management skills and knowledge.
- Contribute ideas and insights to improve project efficiency, effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the project management team.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Chemistry, Engineering, or other life sciences.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact professionally with team members and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
