Overview
Verathon® is looking for a Buyer II/Planner to become the newest member of our Purchasing Department located in Bothell, WA. In this role, you will perform a variety of purchasing assignments, to ensure we achieve our corporate goals relating to raw inventory availability, supplier costs, on-time delivery and quality. Responsibilities
• Place purchase orders for direct & indirect materials while ensuring supplier commitments are met • Manage assigned inventory within predefined Min/Max levels and countermeasure as needed• Negotiate with suppliers to mitigate potential delivery issues before escalating to leadership• Analyze supplier responses and make recommendations to business when there are constraints• Closely monitor supplier OTD and escalate as needed • Escalate EOL/LTB decisions and associated supplier negotiations (e.g. pricing, lead-time)• Collaborate with A/P team members to promptly reconcile PO/invoice discrepancies• Work with MRB team to process RTV’s in a timely fashion• Respond to and update ECR’s and ECO’s as needed• Work with Suppliers and Verathon employees to return non-conforming material to suppliers (RMA Returns)• Identify potential supply chain risks and offer creative solutions• Participate in Supplier Business Review meetings as needed• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred• 3 years minimum of purchasing experience• Experience purchasing direct materials as well as indirect materials (consumables used by Manufacturing)• Experience managing VMI programs preferred• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers• Demonstrated ability to prepare and present information • Ability to create partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders• Understanding of MRP, bill of materials, engineering change order processes • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Epicor experience a plus• Travel up to 10% of the time is required• APICS and ISM Certifications are preferred

- Salary range - $69,180.00 - $91,060.00 (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location; it is not typical to be hired at or above the top of the salary range).
- Full-time employees who are not on a commission plan are eligible for Verathon’s annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
