Overview
Verathon® is looking for an Operations Specialist to become the newest member of our OPS Team located in our Sydney, Australia office. The Operations Specialist is responsible for managing physical inventory for service and sales, order entry, shipping, receiving and other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
• Supports in the overall management and monitoring of stock management, allocation and order management including batching and filing of all documentation• Physical handling of inbound and outbound shipments (products, spare parts, demo equipment, loaners, repairs) & the associated documentation• Complete sales order entry, picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders and produce all import and export documentation• Liaise with freight forwarders and transport service providers• Manage incoming telephone calls and email correspondence • Support the full lifecycle of a case from initial contact to resolution• Phone and email-based troubleshooting of medical devices and software• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stocks are maintained of all finished goods, accessories, consumables, and service parts• Unpack, disinfect, label, and stage all incoming equipment for the Technical Services team• Document receipt of all incoming equipment for Technical Services team• Pack and ship all Service, Capital and Accessory orders • Aid in other areas of Technical Service as needed and directed: • Carry out limited repairs and maintenance on Verathon products in accordance with Verathon procedures and ISO 13485 requirements as back up to Medical Device Service Technician
Qualifications
• Experience with interface to sales teams, sales channels, supply chain, customer care, technical service and finance preferred• Successfully completed university level education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred• 1 year experience in Customer Service strongly preferred • Experience with the order processing, supply chain or freight forwarding related field preferred. • Fluent in English with strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing• Must be detail oriented• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows• Able to meet the physical demands of the role including lifting & moving items weighing up to 14 kg repeatedly• Proven strong organizational skills and able to work with minimal to no supervision
