Typical Day - Core team member

Cat divides products for ex L1-L9. This group deals with L5, ePower train system, power source to wheels.

This person will do L5 simulation.

Background in simulation is helpful.

Those who have power source or drive line simulation experience is good!!

BACKFILL

This person should know simulation of systems knowledge.

Day to day - sim requests from NPI leads that will have all kinds of question.

What's the max amount of torque.

This engineer will need to pull a physics-based model to answer, they may have to develop a model and find it.

Because they're new they do develop a lot of systems and processes

Report out on what they learned after doing simulations to those who requested it, then document the findings.

How many years of experience - a degree is not required but most people will have advanced degree, if they don't have a degree, they will have to go into detail of their past simulation exp.

Master's degree is ideal and likely.

Open to people in 2 / 3d - this person would be at a competitive disadvantage.

If they have 1d significant experience and 2 / 3d they do qualify

They need to have extensive 1d experience, much of their experience should be 1d.

Open to candidates with 1d in diff mechanics

Required Skills (top 3-5 non-negotiables)-

1. 1D simulations tool (cats tool Is dynasty, but also you matlabs)
