Customer Service Reservation Agent

Welcome to Verde Adventures. We provide unforgettable water experiences along the scenic Verde River. We are looking for a fun, an outdoorsy individual with an amazing phone and customer service personality to fill our Reservations Agent position. As an Agent, you will answer phones, emails, book activities, and communicate with customers in an online chat, and also provide support to our office, river operations, and retail store.

35 to 40 hours per week.

This job location: Cottonwood, AZ

Tasks

• Receiving phone calls, chat messages, emails and text messages from customers and local resorts and hotels, & river operations crew.
• Assisting customers with selecting their best tour option
• On occasion helping with shuttling guests, guides, and gear to the river and back
• Checking in customers and providing retail support at our store.
• Coordinating reservations with managers and guides
• Participating in 14 Day Agent Training
• Working Weekends and holidays are a must!

Preferred Qualifications:*

• WE ARE A TOBACCO FREE WORK ENVIRONMENT - No use of tobacco products while working. Vape Pens are fine.
• Good computer and application use skills are a must!!!
• Good DMV report for driving purposes. Background check.
• Physically fit and able to help on the river during the heat of the summer
• Has a computer at home and has an internet connection for those times when we work remotely.
• Effective Phone, Computer, Reservations and Communications Skills are a must!
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications products, and working knowledge of computers and information systems
• Organizational skills
• Has and is proficient with SMART phones and applications

Ideal candidates:

• Be 25 year old and a clear driving record (Bring DMV report)
• Be in good physical condition with no back, shoulder issues.
• Has a computer at home an internet connection and actively used technology
• Possess a general computer and smartphone aptitude, and ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs.

Pay:

• $16 per hour for first 15 days of training and shared tips on tour and activities.
• $17 per hour after 15 days and shared tips on tour and activities.the agent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
