Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Accounting Associate role located in Mount Vernon, NY at Verde Electric Corporation. This is a full time Accounting Associate position that will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer at Verde Electric Corporation in the Firm’s Mount Vernon office. This position will focus more on accounts payable and payroll and expand to other accounting tasks as needed. Verde Electric is a leading professional electrical organization in the New York Metropolitan Area.
Responsibilities
Managing and processing vendor invoices as we receive
Ensure proper coding to correct jobs and cost codes
Reconcile accounts payable statements with vendors
Manage high volume of email communication
Gather and verify timecard data
Enter timecard data into payroll system
Preparation of certified payroll reports
Skills:
Excellent organization skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Proficiency in using accounting and payroll software (Viewpoint and Payroll 4 Construction a plus)
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
Pay:
Base Salary Amount – $60,000 - $70,000
Frequency – Bi-Weekly
Additional Compensation –
Discretionary Year-End Bonus
