Non-Exempt / Part Time
Reports To : Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager
Collaborates With : Store Managers,Senior CSRs, CSR Trainers

Job Summary :
We are seeking a professional and personable Customer Safety and Service Representative to ensure the safety and security of our dispensary operations. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for customers and will be responsible for : maintaining store compliance with safety and security protocols, checking IDs, greeting guests, and turning away individuals who do not meet entrance requirements. This role requires strong communication skills, situational awareness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The Customer Safety and Service Representative will also identify and report any suspicious or illegal activities to management and local authorities.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions :
- Maintain store compliance with DSP.QP.001 - Dispensary Level Safety SOP and all other safety and security protocols with all individuals internal and external.
- Greet and welcome customers upon arrival, maintaining a friendly yet professional demeanor.
- Verify age and identification of all customers, ensuring legal compliance.
- Turn away customers who do not meet entrance criteria or display suspicious behavior.
- Monitor customer behavior and be alert to any signs of safety hazards or potential conflicts.
- Handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism while enforcing dispensary policies.
- Notify management and local law enforcement of any suspicious activities, illegal behavior, or threats to safety.
- Ensure the entrance area is safe, clean, and welcoming for customers.
- Assist in maintaining a calm and orderly environment within the dispensary.
- Identify and assess clients' needs to make proper product recommendations
- Remain in line with our family friendly policy, provide only valid and reliable information, resonate professionalism, and provide client support
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, NM Cannabis Patient Laws, and medicinal information updates to pass the information to clients
- Maintain proper inventory stock on the sales floor and backstock, as needed
- Responsible for the accuracy of sales transactions, client records, inventory control and cash drawer counts
- Regular / reliable attendance is required
- Keeping best interest of the company and co-workers in forefront of mind
- Other duties as assigned
