What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Technician position at Verdesian Brand?
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform all packaging and blending operations as directed by the manufacturing supervisor
- Help with set up and take down of assembly process and collection of debris and trash
- Must work well others and support a team environment
- Follow all SOP’s and safety guidelines
- Other job duties as assigned
Education, Knowledge and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Have good attention to detail
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to wear required PPE including respirator and dust mask
- Must wear safety glasses and steel toed boots
- Stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Able to work in a mildly dusty environment and fluctuating temperatures
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work harmoniously with diverse range of people
