Position Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring the safe, responsible, and efficient handling, processing, and packaging of QC/Verdesian Life Sciences LLC’s products at the manufacturing site. The Material Handler must be capable of understanding equipment operations, labeling and packaging types, forklift operations, and general housekeeping rules.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Read & understand written instructions on product types, labeling requirements, and storage locations. Operate the following equipment; 50 lb bagger, Super Sak bagging equipment, forklift, coating drums, palletizer, and loading hopper.
- Completes daily operational documentation.
- Keep accurate count of completed products and raw material & supply usage.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment.
- Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of processing areas; includes hands-on cleaning and maintenance along with organization and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other departments.
- Distributes documentation, including transfer of all original documents, to production supervisor for records.
- Ability to be fit tested and don a mask
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

All positions start at $16 per hour or more based on skills and experience.
