Verdesian Life Sciences is seeking a candidate to fill the role of Regional Business Lead in Asia . This role will be responsible for delivering the agreed sales revenue for Southeast Asia, providing the annual budget and forecasting, reporting, and communicating the overall product, pricing and sales policies in growing Verdesian's business through Distributors. The incumbent will build key strategic partnerships, identify business opportunities, and negotiate with channel partners focusing on the long-term growth of key product technologies. The incumbent will train and motivate the commercial teams of partners plus liaise with internal team members such as development, marketing, regulatory, legal, operations, and product development to ensure full delivery and execution of business activities. The person in this role must plan and execute a persuasive approach that will drive adoption of the sales and product plans collaboratively between the Distributors and Verdesian. The incumbent will report directly to the VP, EMEA and APAC and will be a member of the International Leadership Team. The incumbent should reside in the Thailand, Malaysia or Indonesia areas.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Coordinating all sales and related business activities between Verdesian SEA and channel partners
- Accountable for the overall achievement and execution of all business and promotional activities along with legal contract management
- Managing relationships and motivating the distributor's team to achieve target revenues and margins within agreed expense base to obtain the maximum return on investment
- Providing prompt, thorough, and accurate information to the VP to ensure proper communication and alignment of strategic goals
- Assisting in the building of the 2-5-year strategy plans that aligns with the global VLSCI goals
- Developing and maintaining an integrated customer base with clear action and execution plans
- Formulating and recommending plans, policies, objectives and activities to capture new markets / key crop growth
- Generating new revenue for VLSCI by identifying and developing relationships and execution of contracts with new target channel partners
- Developing customer / market focused ideas for the development of new products / services to increase market share
- Achieving annual year over year increases in growth targets
- Developing and maintaining a strong working knowledge of company products and technologies to ensure proper alignment and positioning with channel partners
- Expanding the company's brand image by facilitating sales and product training meetings
- Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
