What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tree Spike Handler - 6:30a - 3p position at Verdesian?
Essential Responsibilities :
- Read & understand written instructions on product types, labeling requirements, and storage locations. Operate the following equipment; 50 lb bagger, Super Sak bagging equipment, fork lift, coating drums, palletizer, and loading hopper
- Completes daily operational documentation
- Keep accurate count of completed products and raw material & supply usage
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment
- Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of processing areas; includes hands-on cleaning and maintenance along with organization and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other departments
- Distributes documentation, including transfer of all original documents, to production supervisor for records
- Ability to be fit tested and don a mask
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Criteria :
All positions start at $16 per hour or more based on skills and experience.
