Assistant Project Manager
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Florida West Coast Operations team in building something better.
The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the project manager to implement project goals, gathering information and creating files as needed. This role is responsible for reviewing and maintaining plans and specifications, preparing invoices and scheduling meetings as required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the submittal process by reviewing shop drawings against project specifications
- Maintain submittal logs and coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and Project Superintendent
- Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for project completion
- Liaise with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution
Requirements:
- Previous experience in project management or a similar role
- Able to multitask and work collaboratively
- Knowledge of construction / architectural / engineering terminology, Multifamily experience
- Basic planning and estimating skills
- Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in a construction-related curriculum or equivalent field experience
- Three years of on-the-job experience in related construction field
