Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Lead creative direction and design philosophy to deliver innovative architectural solutions.
- Review and enhance home plan portfolios based on trends, supply chain insights, and best practices.
- Develop detailed construction drawings and 3D renderings using Revit.
- Research architectural trends and recommend integration into product offerings.
- Ensure neighborhood plans align with architectural and municipal standards.
- Collaborate with advisory and development teams to drive design innovation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on design and planning.
- Create schematic plans, refine designs, and ensure code compliance.
- Customize plans with the Sales Team while adhering to standards.
- Review and approve final plans, permit documents, and architectural submissions.
- Support neighborhood development, including home siting and amenity designs.
- Present architectural highlights at events and assist with customer-specific design needs.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in architecture and design, with at least 5 years in residential home design. Architectural license preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
