Position: Mechanical Inspector
Location: Las Vegas, NV Duration: On-going contract - On-demand Frequency: ~1-2 visits per every 3 months - part-time - 1099.
We currently have a need for an experienced mechanical source inspector to support in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Inspections are infrequent. About one to two visits every three months.
Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments at supplier’s facility to verify compliance to drawings, standards/specifications and other PO requirement.
- Verify material certifications against PO requirements, part marking where required and visually inspect for obvious defects/ damage.
Qualifications
Skills Requirement:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on precision mechanical inspection experience is required
- Strong understanding of, and experience with, ANSI Y 14.5 GD&T
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and basic computer skills are a must
- Experience working with tight tolerances
- Hands-on mechanical inspection experience
- Must have experience working with Mil-standards
- Previous source inspection experience
Requirements:
- Will be working as an independent contractor (1099).
- Must have LLC/DBA or able to obtain an LLC/DBA
