Aerospace -Quality Tag Writer

Location : Wichita, KS

Job Type : Full Time

Frequency : Monday - Friday (potential weekends)

Duration : 6 months with potential extension

Hrs / week : 40 hrs / week

Pay Rate : $38.00 / hr - $40.00 / hr based on experience

Job Description Summary :

Seeking Quality Representative to Support Quality Notification (QN) Tag Writing in support of non-conformances for Aerospace machined components.

Work Setting : Manufacturing & Office

Must be able to work in manufacturing environment as well as office environment.

Quality Representative will be on site at Customer Facility to support the following job responsibilities :

Including but not limited to :

Capturing and processing different types of problems or defects which are identified during inspection
Capture individual defect items pertaining to the problem and analyze the root causes of the defect.
Document a nonconformity found in a single order or from a batch of materials
Engaging with the production team to provide feedback and support necessary adjustments that align product output with quality standards

Qualifications :

Minimum 10 years of Quality Management experience

Review and understand blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to gather the information needed for inspection duties.

Working knowledge of quality requirements for commercial product as measure on CMM Machine.

RCCA experience

MBD / DPD Working Knowledge

Perform all physical functions of position, standing, stooping, bending, sitting, walking, twisting, kneeling, turning and lifting of materials up to 35 lbs.

Familiarity with QMS systems and tools

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Ability to influence others and lead small teams

Effective problem identification and solution skills

Ability to pass a drug screening and eye examination
